RAS · Machine Access Box
Remote maintenance for machines
Remote access routers that establish a secure VPN connection between the machine and the technician, from a PC, tablet or smartphone (iOS/Android). Ethernet, cellular 3G+/4G and Wi-Fi hybrid models, with RS232/RS485 serial ports for legacy equipment.

Secure interconnection of industrial equipment
Industrial VPN routers with advanced routing and firewall functions in line with market cybersecurity standards. Ethernet, Wi-Fi, cellular and ADSL connectivity, including dual-failover models. This is the family we deploy most in our projects, with the IPL-C-100-LW as our reference model.

Ethernet over existing copper cabling
Turn a single telephone-grade copper pair into an Ethernet network, with no civil works needed. SHDSL range (XSLAN, up to 15 Mb/s) and SPE range (XELAN, minimal consumption and latency). This is the technology behind our success story multiplying a client's bandwidth by over 1000x without touching existing cabling.

Central concentrator for the whole site
Industrial VPN concentrators that centralise and protect the remote connections of an entire plant, with enterprise-grade routing and firewall. Ethernet, ADSL or 4G cellular connectivity, plus a virtual-machine variant.

RAS: remote access and remote maintenance without limits
The routers we supply include a connection licence to the M2Me server for a secure VPN connection to the site from the client's computer, tablet or smartphone.
No subscription costs
The M2Me solution has no subscription cost: you pay for the router and that's it.

Collect&Alert: additional features included by eXDCi Solutions
RAS routers can read information from field equipment via the ModbusTCP or OPC UA protocols. Each unit can communicate up to 128 variables with devices on the LAN, configured without programming through its built-in web server.
Once the data is collected, the RAS router offers several ways to use it:
- Sending alarms by email or SMS (SMS included at no cost on routers with cellular WAN)
- Local storage in the router's internal memory, with daily data delivery in CSV format
- Direct cloud connection: native connectors for Aveva Insight, Store4Me, Siemens Mindsphere and Cumulocity, plus HTTPS and MQTTs compatibility with other systems
Storage capacity and included SMS depend on the router model selected.
